Mount the downloaded image
In the opened window, double click on the file "Install Mac OS X Lion"

Installation:
Creating an installation USB-drive with OS X Lion
Double click on InstallESD.dmg, to mount it on the desktop.

Open Disk Utility and connect your USB-drive to your Mac.
Select in the left menu your USB-drive (in my case it SD card) and click on the delete the "Delete" (Erase). As a format, select "Mac OS X Extended (Journaled)", then click the erase button "Delete" (Erase) below.

Left to choose your formatted USB-drive and click on the restore "Restore" (Restore).
Drag the previously mounted image "Mac OS X Install ESD" in the sources section "Source" (Source).
Drag the formatted partition in place "Destination" (Destination), and then click on the restore button "Restore" (Restore).

Ask if it can erase all data from the USB-drive and on-demand, enter the administrator password.
Now Disk Utility will create a bootable USB-drive Installer OS X Lion. This procedure may take some time. Usually it takes about 20-30 minutes.

When finished, restart your Mac, hold down the reset button Option. As a result, you should see the boot menu:

Select your USB-drive and boot into the installer OS X Lion, and then be able to perform a typical installation of the operating system. Click on the button to continue "Continue", select the drive on which you want to install, and install.
